Odour Controlled Garlic softgels are enteric coated to delay the release of the contents until they pass through the stomach. This improves the medicinal health benefits of garlic and reduces the likelihood of garlic breath. Each softgel delivers a 10:1 concentrate of garlic powder, equivalent to approximately 8 cloves of raw garlic based on the oxygen radical absorbance capacity (or, ORAC). Garlic helps relieve the symptoms associated with upper respiratory tract infections and inflammation of the mucous membranes, especially in the nose and throat. Garlic is traditionally used in herbal medicine to help reduce elevated blood lipid levels/hyperlipidemia in adults.

Ingredients – each softgel contains:

• Garlic powder (Allium sativum) (bulb) 10:1 concentrate* - 500mg
• *Each 500 mg softgel is equivalent to approximately 5,000 mg or 8 cloves of raw garlic based on ORAC value.

Supplementary information:

• Total actives (allicin, alliin, gamma-glutamylcysteines) - 8,000 mcg

Non-medicinal ingredients:

• Flaxseed oil, softgel capsule (gelatin [bovine], glycerin, purified water), lecithin, yellow beeswax, enteric coating (purified water,  ethylcellulose, medium chain triglycerides, oleic acid, sodium alginate, stearic acid).

Recommended dosage (19 years and older):

• 1 softgel daily or as directed by a physician.

Caution: 

• Consult a physician prior to use if you are pregnant or if you are taking blood thinners, protease inhibitors, or if you have diabetes. Consult a physician if symptoms persist or worsen. Hypersensitivity (e.g., allergy) has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use.
